T erms and conditions for TASTE Club Competitions

Taste North East competitions (the "Competition") are open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over who are registered with the TASTE Club. Registration is FREE.

The Competition is not open to employees or agencies working with Taste North East or family members, freelance contributors to Taste North East, or anyone else connected to the Competition.

Entry into the Competitions is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

To enter the Competitions you must email separate entries to offers@tastenortheast.co.uk. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Competition, please e-mail us atenquiries@tastenortheast.co.uk with "TASTE Club Competitions" in the subject line.

Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. You are responsible for the cost (if any) of sending your Competition entry to us.

No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

Please note the Competition closure dates at the end of each competition as they may vary. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.

The winner will be chosen from a random draw of correct entries.

All prizes are described above. Taste North East accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.

The winners will be notified by email no later than a week after the competition closing date and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to Taste North East within 14 days of being notified by Taste North East, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Taste North East shall be entitled to select another winner (and that winner will have to respond to the email from Taste North East within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Taste North East shall be entitled to select another winner.

Details of the winner may also be published on the next TASTE Club Update or (at Taste North East's sole discretion) at a later date.

Winners will be notified how to collect their prize or sent a voucher to claim their prize.

The prizes is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Taste North East retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.

The winners may be required for promotional activity.

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of Taste North East for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.

Taste North East accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. Taste North East further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.

Taste North East reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Taste North East in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

Taste North East shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

Your access to the Website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new content. We will attempt to restore access as soon as we reasonably can.
4. Advice and Opinions
The Website provides a forum for members to seek advice from appropriate organisations. In doing so, the Company is not in a position to endorse any such advice, nor is it qualified to do so. In using this service you agree, to the fullest extent permissible in law, that the Company has no liability arising out of the giving of such advice by third parties. You also agree that the advice given is likely to be, by its very nature, only an overview and as such is no substitute for a full consultation enabling the adviser to advise you in a more meaningful way taking into account your specific circumstances.
5. Products and Services
The Website provides its members with information relating to products and services available from selected suppliers which may be of interest to members. In doing so, the Company does not endorse any such products or services. Any member wishing to purchase any such products or services must do so of their own volition and by way of direct contact with the supplier in question.

The Website contains materials submitted by others over which the Company has no control. We cannot warrant or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, ownership or quality of such material and cannot therefore endorse any of the material published by third parties on the Website.
